Membership in the PPA is available to anyone interested in pharmacy. We offer a wide variety of different types of membership

Active Pharmacist
Regular Annual Dues are $259 for any registered or licensed pharmacist and any individuals not licensed or registered, but who has received a degree in pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy. Additionally, faculty who teach pharmacy, chemistry, materia medica, and other sciences or arts, the knowledge of which is necessary for the proper and efficient practice of pharmacy, may qualify for this membership type. Dues may be paid annually or on a monthly basis. To

If you live in any of the following counties: Allegheny, Lancaster, Bucks/Montgomery, Lehigh/Northampton. Affiliated County dues are an additional $25 and are non optional in these counties.

New Practitioner:
To help ease the transition from pharmacy student to full-fledged pharmacist, PPA offers discounted dues to new practitioners (including residents) during their first three years of practice.
If you live in any of the following counties: Allegheny, Lancaster, Bucks/Montgomery, Lehigh/Northampton, Affiliated County
dues are an additional fee and are non-optional in these counties.

Joint with Spouse/Pharmacist:
Annual Dues are $129* for any individual who would qualify for Active Membership but is the Spouse of an already Active Member. To access this application, select one of the choices below.
If you live in any of the following counties: Allegheny, Lancaster, Bucks/Montgomery, Lehigh/Northampton, dues are an additional $20 and are non optional in these counties.

Retired:
Annual Dues are $89* for individuals who have been active PPA members or a member of a county or regional association for five years who request
transfer to the retired dues category. Must be eligible for Social Security and not be employed more than 20 hours per week. The dues reduction
will take effect for the next dues cycle. There is no refund provided. To access this application, select one of the choices below.
If you live in any of the following counties: Allegheny, Lancaster, Bucks/Montgomery, Lehigh/Northampton. Affiliated County dues are an additional $15 and are non optional in these counties.
*Please select this application if you are a current active member who has been a dues paying member of either or both the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association or an Affliated county or regional pharmacy association for five years looking to transfer to retired membership status.

Part-time Pharmacist:
Annual Dues are $129* for individuals who are licensed pharmacists but who are only working part-time. Hours per week may not exceed 20 hours. To access this application, select one of the choices below.

Pharmacy Technician:
As a pharmacy technician member of the PPA, you have an opportunity to positively impact pharmacy's future.
With the industry landscape changing in the State of Pennsylvania, your membership will allow you to
keep abreas of everything that will affect your journey. Annual dues are only $40*.

Group Programs:
These programs are designed for groups of pharmacists and technicians that work together in the same location or for a corporate entity. If you are interested in learning more about these opportunities, please contact us at ppa@papharmacists.com.
Academia Corporate Membership:
Corporate Membership available to any additional full-time faculty at one of the seven schools of pharmacy in Pennsylvania, who are all part of the Academia Partnership program. Under the partnership program, if the school has a Premium Tier Membership any additional faculty member can be added at no extra cost, if the pharmacy school has a Basic Tier Membership additional faculty can be added for only $110 annually. Please contact us directly at ppa@papharmacists.com if you have any questions regarding the fees and/or application process. All applications are subject to approval.
Health System Corporate/Pharmacy Entity Corporate:
This membership, for only $525, is for you Director of Pharmacy and two staff pharmacists, or for three
of your staff pharmacists at the same location/hospital. Each additional pharmacist is $150 and
certified technicians are only $30. Pharmacists working together in a single health system or
pharmacy location may want to take advantage of this program.
Group Membership:
This program is for pharmacists and technicians that are employed from a single corporate entity, and
a single payment is made from the corporate office. The dues start at $230 for each pharmacist
and decrease on a sliding scale as the quantity increases. Pharmacy technician dues are $30.
